Proposition 39

Proposition 39 allows Californian schools to make energy efficiency improvements and complete renewable energy projects with funds disbursed from the California Energy Commission. The funds are subject to local school authorities submitting an Energy Expenditure Plan, to be approved by the CEC.

Energy Systems provides a comprehensive set of Proposition 39 services, which fully comply with the California Energy Commission’s Project Implementation Guidelines, including energy modeling, benchmarking, ASHRAE level energy audits, and/or energy surveys. ES ensures that the Energy Expenditure Plan required by the CEC is delivered implementation-ready, on-time and within budget.  ES also offers support in project design and management, monitoring and assessment, and reporting and documentation in the post-construction phase.
