International Consultancies

Energy Systems has a long and successful history in conducting renewable energy consultancies overseas. ES has worked with the World Bank in various engineering consulting assignments for its clean energy programs, including Market Assessment, Feasibility Study and National Solar Home program design. The outcome of these activities has resulted in the world’s most successful solar home program in Bangladesh. Current activity with the World Bank includes preparation of an investment plan for renewable energy projects for scaling up clean technologies in the low-income countries.

‘Access to Electricity in Rural India’ is the core areas of focus of an ongoing project of ES. This project is under contract with an entity within the Lawrence Berkeley National Lab (LBNL) in California. As experts Research & Development for deployment of solar technology and other clean energy, ES will provide specific technical solutions to reducing cost of solar mini-grid facilities. The benefits of the project activities will go to un-served rural households and businesses in India, where access to electricity will add to the quality of lives and livelihoods of low-income populations.

Lighting The Southern Islands
